Numbers,
not brochures
Intski is an independent guide to 258 ski resorts in 27 countries. It started as a joke in a Facebook chat and grew into a database you can plan a trip on.
No number here
is made up
Slope kilometres by difficulty, lifts, elevations, season, nearest airport and the adult day pass price, each with the source it came from. If we do not know something, we do not show it. When someone finds a mistake, we fix it and say so.

What you will find here
A resort database, open data you can cite, free tools and guides written from the numbers.
The resort database
Every resort page carries the same set of facts, so any two resorts can be compared like for like: slopes by difficulty, lifts, base and top elevation, season, a seven-day snow forecast and the day pass price. Rankings and side-by-side comparisons are built from the same data.

Lift pass prices for the season compared in euros, and opening dates marked by where they come from. Free to cite under CC BY 4.0.
Lift pass prices Opening datesGuides from the numbers
Resort against resort, the closest resorts to an airport, where to ski early in the season. Every table in an article is checked against the database before it is published.
Read guidesTools that save real time
A trip cost calculator that uses each resort's real pass price and suggests cheaper resorts with as much piste. A what-to-wear calculator that works out the temperature and wind chill at the top, because the weather app shows the village. DIN, ski length and pole length calculators, each with its sources.

It started as a joke
in a Facebook chat
Indrek was planning a ski trip with friends. His nickname is Ints, and he joked that he would soon launch intski.ee. He checked, just in case, and the .com was free too. That is how a joke became a domain.
He has skied since he was six. Then came a long break, because life had other plans, and then a return that settled it for good. In his words: the mountain is the one place where you forget everything else. Whoever has been knows what that means, and whoever goes once wants to go back.
Intski grew out of that feeling and out of a frustration: resort facts were scattered over dozens of sites, often outdated and rarely sourced. So the guide is built the other way round. The data comes first, every figure says where it is from, and the articles, rankings and tools are made from that data.
It is not only a passion project. Europe alone counts 140 to 180 million skier days a season, and a trip planner backed by real people is where Intski is heading. More about Indrek and how the articles are made.
What Drives Us
Nothing made up
If a figure is not known, it is left out. Prices carry their season, and dates say whether the resort or a calendar published them.
Sources you can check
Prices and dates link to the page they came from. An outside audit found an error in our opening dates in September 2026; we fixed it and wrote it into the method.
Skier-First
Built by people who ski a lot, in the Alps and in Scandinavia. The tools exist because we needed them on our own trips.
Independent
Not owned by or tied to any resort, and no resort can pay for a ranking. AI helps us draft articles; the facts come from the database, not from the AI.
Intski OÜ
Intski is made by Intski OÜ, a small company in Estonia. Spotted a wrong number or a missing resort? Write to us, more pairs of eyes see more than one. And yes, there is a story behind Pingo the penguin. We are saving it for our social channels, so follow along.
