The lifts run from 1,450 m to 2,811 m, a vertical of around 1,360 m. The top is well above 2,200 m, so altitude helps the higher slopes hold snow across the December-to-April season, and the site rates Lech Zürs as snow-sure. The base at 1,450 m is high for a traditional village, which matters for the run home late in the season.

What the link to Warth-Schröcken changed
Before 2013–14 the Lech villages were already a significant ski area in their own right. The link added Warth-Schröcken and pushed the whole to the top of the Austrian rankings by connected size. For a visitor the practical effect is choice: more terrain than can be covered in a stay, reached from a village base rather than a purpose-built centre.
