Nõmme Lumepark is Tallinn’s own ski hill, on the old Mustamäe slope beside the city’s ski-jump hills in leafy Nõmme. It is run by a non-profit snow academy, and there are three short slopes, marked red, blue and green, served by a drag lift. There is snowmaking and floodlights, and the hill is open until 21:00 most evenings in season. In summer an artificial-surface slope stays open for training.
It is tiny and mostly used by local families, ski-school groups and young racers. For a visitor it is the easiest way to click into skis during a Tallinn city break: it is 10 km from the airport and reachable by public transport, with rental and lessons on site.
