Valgehobusemäe is a forest ski and leisure centre in the Kõrvemaa lake-and-bog country, about 50 minutes’ drive east of Tallinn. It is best known for cross-country skiing, with a network of trails that connect to the wider Kõrvemaa routes. Alongside those it has a single floodlit downhill slope, about 200 m long with 30 m of vertical, served by a rope tow. There is snowmaking and a popular snow-tubing track.
Downhill skiing here is a side attraction, suited to children and first-timers during a day of cross-country skiing or tubing. The centre has rental, a café, saunas, accommodation and a lookout tower on the hill.
